Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Our Centre is committed to ensuring equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of the Evidence Centre and its work programmes and team structure.

Our values framework is built around social, economic, and environmental justice, consistent with the generational focus of the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act. We also seek to identify where most value can be gained through our work, as much as the narrower goal of cost-effectiveness.

We have experience of engaging and working with underserved groups. We have engaged several such underserved groups (including ethnic minority groups, younger people, lower income groups, and disabled people) that were more severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to explore their experiences and research priorities.

We operate in a respectful, inclusive multi-disciplinary approach reaching across health, social care and third sectors and with academic and industry partners. We are committed to collaborative working, within our centre, its partners and the network described above, and with external Centres.
